1983 ASA new Logo

Mike Thompson was elected as President in 1983 and was the creator of the leagues new logo which would last for 25 years till 2008.

Mike also became the supplier of uniforms for the league. His company "Teamworks" still supplies Alderwood today.

Mike passed away on Dec 23, 2009. In 2010 all the players wore a memmorial cresting in his honour.

Typical 80s ball cap with mesh back and hot stamp logo. Caps were a high-top style so they could be stamped. This hat came from a player named Robert who played on Mike Thompson's team, as printed on the inside.

1984-1986           Jerry Selwah was President of Alderwood Softball Assoc.

1987-1989           John Hubert is elected President of Alderwood Softball Assoc.

1976 - 1986 the New ASA logo (Time line)

For a decade this red logo would appear on the white All-Stars shirts. It also became the left chest logo for the various House league shirts.

The logo was also hot stamped on several beer glasses as shown below and given as awards.
