About Alderwood Softball

We are located in Alderwood, a district of Toronto. We have been around since 1949, over sixty-five years and have been the home for many children in Etobicoke to play softball.

1994 HL Tykes (West Toronto Optimist)

ASA now implemented Black track pants for all the players to help prevent injuries from sliding and to give a better appearance with a complete uniform. With the pants came a ball cap with the ASA logo hot stamped on it. Hats were colour co-ordinated with the uniforms, but all the pants for everyone was black. All teams from here on are mixed boys and girls.

1990-1994  Bill Monery was elected President of Alderwood Softball Assoc.
